It’s Okay to be Different

A crew from Outpost Worldwide was in Branson, Missouri, to shoot a short documentary entitled “It’s Okay to be Different,” featuring Kim Peek, the mega-savant who was the inspiration for Barry Morrow’s Oscar-Winning Screenplay, “Rain Man” (starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman). Kim “Rain Man” Peek and his dedicated father, Francis Peek, were in Branson to help introduce the new Children’s Learning Books Series created by Stephen Carnegie and co-authored by Child Psychologist, Dr. Larry Beal. The book series is currently in production and will serve as a coping tool designed to help parents and children with disabilities.
